Offering trauma-informed, liberation-centered psychotherapy to individuals aged 15 years and older in Washington State.

Where To Start

Finding the right therapist can feel daunting. It’s hard to know what to look for.

I recommend the following steps:

~ Identify what is most important to your therapy (finances, approach, specialty, etc.)

~ Search for 2-3 therapists who fit your priorities.

~ Schedule free consults to get a feel for each therapist.

~ Schedule 1-3 sessions with your top choice to decide if they are a good match.

“Something ignited in my soul, fever or unremembered wings, and I went my own way deciphering that burning fire.”

Emilia Stoneham’s Approach To Therapy

In our work together, I will draw from relational, existential, and psychodynamic approaches to support deep, meaningful change. This means we will explore how your past experiences and relationships shape your current patterns, while also making space for the big questions—identity, purpose, connection, and meaning.

I view therapy as a collaborative relationship where healing happens through honest reflection, emotional insight, and mutual trust. You can expect a warm, grounded space where we gently examine what’s not working and nurture what is ready to grow, likely with a healthy dose of humor.
